E.T. EDGE TUBING
The tubes are shaped hydraulically (hydroforming for the aluminium tubes) or pneumatically (monobloc mould for carbon frames), making our top tube up to 30% stronger than those of our competitors. By extending the edging from the top tube down through the seat stays and to the dropouts, we’ve improved frame dynamics:
– by reducing the effect of torque when pedalling
– by optimising its vertical flexibility
– by maximising the transfer of force from the pedals to the back wheel.
CONIC EDGE TUBE
The tapered shape of the head tube allows for a stiffer front triangle, meaning a more-precise ride.

I.D.O / INTERCHANGEABLE DROP OUT
Interchangeable dropouts allow the rear-wheel axle to be changed without requiring a new frame. – 9x135mm axle – 12x142mm axle.
The dropouts are identical on the Prim, Exact and Fat categories. The derailleur hanger can be replaced independently of the dropouts.
CARBON TORAY ® 7.0 & 8.0 (PRIM)
Our frames are laid up using two different grades of HM fibre from TORAY.
– Grade T700 for the PRIM S3 and S2.
– Grade T800 for the PRIM S1 and FINEST.
The premium T800 fibre offers greater resistance to both deformation (+22%) and breaking (+16%). Because of this, we’ve been able to optimise thickness to save 200 g (+/- 30 g).
ALLOY 6069 (EXACT/BIGWOOD/PLUS)
Strength (inset 1): 6069 is the most difficult alloy to break and with the best fatigue strength.
– Elastic limit (maximum force before permanent deformation)
= +25% (6061) and +15% (7005)
– Fatigue (force before breaking) = +54% (6061) and +28% (7005)

Alloy 6069 offers the best density:elasticity ratio.
1% higher than 6061 and 2.2% lower than 7005
– Elastic modulus: 4.4% lower than 6061 and 9% lower than 7005
REMOVABLE FRONT DERAILLEUR HANGER (PRIM)
Removable front derailleur hanger allows the drivetrain to be changed to a 1×11 (or the reverse). Saves weight and gives a sleeker frame design.
